During the 3rd Summit of Leaders held last April 1, 2008, the members of the Euro-Asian Cooperation on Gaming Association Limited (ECG) unanimously designated PAGCOR Chairman & CEO Efraim C. Genuino as the Interim ECG Chairman for an term. As scheduled, the Association is supposed to elect its new set of officers during the 3rd Summit. However, full of trust and confidence on the current ECG Chairman Genuino, the members of the Council opted to retain the current members of the Executive Council under the strong leadership of Chairman Genuino.

ECG Chairman Genuino on the other hand accepted the challenge to once again lead the Association. He said, ““Well, first of all I would like to thank the members of the Association for the trust and confidence that you bestowed upon me. And I’d like to assure you that we will not fail you with your expectations. Thank you.”
